Plone on Relstorage

What

In this presentation we will discuss what Relstroage is, and the effect it can have on your Plone site. We will compare different Relstorage backends (MySQL and PostgreSQL) and how they perform compared to the default filestorage. We will also discuss why you may or may not want to use Relstorage in your environment. We will also review any changes you will need to make to your environment to maintain Relstorage.

Six Feet Up, Inc. co-founder Calvin Hendryx-Parker merges his technical knowledge with his networking skills in order to locate and woo potential clients and partners, helping them to understand what Plone and Six Feet Up can do for them. With his 12 years of technical experience in fields as diverse as systems engineering, data modeling and information architecture, Calvin understands the benefits and limitations of Plone and Zope at an in-depth level. This knowledge, along with his ability to effectively communicate with individuals in all levels of an organization, allows him to satisfy those tough questions that clients must have answered before the development or hosting process begins. Calvin also uses these skills as an active member of the Plone Community, currently holding the position of Vice President of the Plone Foundation.
